He said I did what?!

posted by Bess Auer , March 25 at 4:47pm

No, I didn’t resent Jack Aldinger too much when he appeared on my doorstep Tuesday evening to take my Chevy Traverse back to the Van Gannaway Dealership. And don’t believe it when he tells you I ran like a screaming toddler when he extended his hand for the car keys.  And he’s not serious when he tells you he had to chase me four times around the car (it …continue reading »

Goodbye Chevy Traverse, It Has Been Fun

posted by Jennifer Leet , March 24 at 3:12pm

This past month has flown by, and this morning I had to say goodbye to my Chevy Traverse. It is a sad day here, I really fell in love with that car and I am going to miss it!

I want to thank from the bottom of my heart:
Girlfriend On The Go – Thank you for picking me to be a part of this amazing …continue reading »

Chevy Traverse Goes To Universal Mardi Gras

posted by Jennifer Leet , March 24 at 2:34pm

This past weekend we took a fun trip out to Universal Orlando for some Mardi Gras fun with the family. As we got out of the car at Valet parking I was immediately asked what kind of car it was by a man walking by. I proudly told him that it was a Traverse and after talking for a few minutes my son called …continue reading »

The Winter Park Art Festival

posted by Meghann Anderson , March 23 at 8:26am

This past weekend I was presented with a $50 gift card and a mission to enjoy lunch with some friends at the Winter Park Art Festival in downtown Winter Park.
This was a mission I had no problem hopping on board with. The Winter Park Art Festival is an annual event I have been meaning to check out for a few years  and this was …continue reading »

Traversing the Art Festival

posted by Bess Auer , March 20 at 2:58pm

I was so excited to drive to one of most anticipated events of the year: The 51st Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival.  For those who don’t know, Winter Park is more like a quaint European village, rather than a suburb just 25 miles from Disney.  Growing up here, I spent many a day shopping the charming boutiques on Park Avenue, and running beside the …continue reading »

Traversing for a Cause

posted by Bess Auer , March 17 at 4:22pm

Like most women, my day is packed from morn until night. I hit the ground rolling before 7 a.m. to get to school, teach until 3 p.m., then I’m off to work on my website: The Central Florida Top 5.
This past week was no exception, when I had to stop by the American Lung Association of Florida, a nonprofit my website has teamed up …continue reading »

Tailgating Out of the Traverse

posted by Caitlin Boyle , March 17 at 9:54am

My family and I are so active; we need a vehicle that can keep up with us!  This past Sunday, I raced in my first Olympic Triathlon.   My Husband woke up extra early to come with me to the event.

It was completely dark out until right before the race start, so I flipped on all the Chevy’s lights to unload my gear out of the back. …continue reading »

Navigating with OnStar

posted by Meghann Anderson , March 16 at 3:40pm

The FedEx man and I have a terrible history of missing each other during the day. He’ll try to deliver a package while I am at work and I’ll come home to a lovely notice on my door – like this one – that instructs me where I can collect my package before another failed attempt is made.

Sadly, my local FedEx depot isn’t very …continue reading »

Traversing to the Legendary Place of Healing

posted by Bess Auer , March 12 at 7:40pm

Ominous clouds of chaos resounded through my brain. Pressure walked across my shoulder blades like Xerxes’ armada of elephants.  My collar bones threatened to crumble under the weight of desperation as I drove toward Altamonte Springs. I had been told of a legendary fountain of youth, a healing place of glimmering purple light …I held out hope that this mythical house of worship would provide the relief I so desperately sought.
The …continue reading »
